About

  • SQWBL

Southern Queensland Winter Baseball League (SQWBL Inc) is a social league promoting grassroots baseball in Brisbane between May-August each year.

SQWBL was formed in 2009 with the dedicated coaches of two teams who restored the then-disused ballpark at Carseldine. In 2017, the league relocated from Carseldine to two permanent ballparks north and south in partnership with Pine Hills Baseball Club and Southern Stars Baseball Club.

SQWBL has grown to over 250 members, representing 23 teams across four divisions. Men and women of all ages (15-65+) are encouraged to join one of our teams during the winter months.

We hope to see you down at the ballpark!
